Budgeting for the bathroom

The bathrooms are one of the most important rooms to decorate. People whom you may be close with as well as someone who you may not be close to may spend some time in the bathroom while visiting you and they will take notice on your bathroom, whether it needs work, is clean etc. You won't want someone to leave with a bad impression after visiting your bathroom.

The first law of how to decorate a bathroom on a budget is to learn and master the art of how to clean it so well that you literally have a sparkling bathroom. A bathroom should always be kept clean and dry. Bathroom should be cleaned at least once a week, and within a couple of days if it is extensively used by several people.

You can always mix colors and patterns while decorating the bathroom. You will find that when it comes to budgeting for the bathroom you will really only get into the expenses if you are putting in a floor or if you are putting in paneling or applications in the bathroom. Fixtures, flooring and wall tiles are the ones that cost a lot of money. You can actually redecorate a bathroom under a thousand dollars if you do not intend to change these items and still have a good looking and refreshing bathroom.

You will just need to think about a rug set and towel set. Of course, they both need to match so you may end up wanting to go with a set that is very common. You will also want to consider the fact that you will need to add a little bit of fluff (even if you are a single male). This means that you will need to get a $4 bag of potpourri and a nice glass bowl. You may also want to get a small, tiny stand. You may even want to get a nice candle set to set it all off. You will want to consider some of your options when it comes to decorating the bathroom. You will notice that a little bit of décor can go a long way.

For those who will need window treatments you will find that it can get very expensive. If you would like, the cheapest way to decorate a bathroom with window treatments is to get a set of cheap blinds and then make your own valance. You need just a little bit of fabric and a needle and thread. You may even be able to find something from the discount rack that fits perfectly into the décor of your bathroom.
